Weekly Update 11/26/2103

Hey everyone! This week I was able to plot the campgrounds and other features on my map. Everything seems to be looking good and coming all together. Will post a another map early next week with the progress. Enjoy your holiday!

Weekly Update 11/19/2013

Hey all, sorry for the delay but here she is! The entire trail GPS points have been plotted and im working on this week inputing the campgrounds and other area features. I'm also looking into the possibilty of adding a bike trail as well.

Weekly Update11/12/2013

Hey all! This week I was in contact with a GIS technician for the DEC who gave me some tips on adding layer to my map. Also got out and took over 120 GPS points to add to my trail map. I will be posting another map later in the week and below are some photos from the weekend.

Onteora Eye Candy

As promised my first draft of a map! You can see the start of the trail around the middle part of the Lake and it continues up and around. I will have another updated map coming soon with the rest of my points and hopefully some campgrounds designated. Check back soon!

Weekly Update 11/5/2013 - We Have a Map

Hello all! First map has been created. I have a basemap of Onteroa Lake along with my GPS points plotted on the map. I plan this Friday to go out into the field again to finnish taking my GPS points and marking campgroud locations. I will send and update soon with a map!
