Weekly Update 10/29/2013

Hey Folks! A few exciting things happened this week in relation to the project. Was able to input my collected GPS points into excel and  I am prepping them for entry into the map. Also gathered a few photos from Onteora Lake that may be useful in the map. Additionally now have a base layer for my map and things seem to be coming together! I will check back soon with a post of my progress.

    Hey Evan,
    I think your idea of adding the campgrounds is a great idea. Especially if you save your final map as a JPEG in addition to your poster, they can create brochures with the picture of your map to hand out to the local campgrounds. This can help build community support and awareness of the trails. Considering the previous map was a rough topography map, you are doing great service to solve this issue.
